Who we are

Hi, I'm Anna.

I'm the founder of Coffee Loving Card Makers and a lifelong coffee drinker who became fascinated with how small wording changes can completely change a conversation. This isn't a quote generator — it's me, writing every guide and coaching every client myself.

Most "what to write" sites online are a wall of forty interchangeable quotes. I built this site to do the opposite — practical, specific wording organized by who you're writing to, plus direct coaching for the moments a template just can't cover: wedding toasts, eulogies, and messages you only get one shot at.

How coaching works.

01

Book a session

Tell Anna the occasion, who it's for, and the tone you want. No pressure, no script — just a real conversation about the moment.

02

Get your wording plan

You'll leave with two or three drafted options built around a real detail, ready to copy into the card as-is or tweak to taste.

03

Send it with confidence

No more staring at a blank card. Just words that sound like you, sent on time — plus a follow-up if the moment calls for a second draft.

Questions

Card writing, frequently asked.

How do I know what to write when my mind goes blank?

Start with one true, specific detail about the person or the moment — a shared memory, a trait you admire, or simply why the occasion matters to you. A specific sentence always beats a generic one, even a short one.

Should I write the same message for a coworker and a close friend?

No. Match the tone to the relationship: warm but brief for coworkers, personal and specific for close friends and family. Our guides give separate examples for each so you are not stretching one message to fit everyone.

How long should a card message actually be?

Shorter than you think. Two to four sentences is usually enough — one line of context, one specific thought, one closing wish. Long messages often read as less sincere, not more.

Is it okay to be funny in a sympathy or get-well card?

Only if you know the person would want that — and even then, lead with sincerity first. Humor works best as a small, gentle moment inside a message that is mostly warm and direct.

What if I don't know the recipient very well?

Keep it warm, brief, and specific to the occasion rather than the person — congratulate the achievement, acknowledge the loss, or wish them well, without inventing a closeness that isn't there.

Still staring at a blank card?

That's exactly why I built this.

Every guide on this site started as a real card I didn't know how to write. If yours isn't covered yet, or you just want a second opinion, book a free call — I answer these myself.
